DIY Rabbit Bag

Materials needed:
- Fabric in the color of your choice
- Lining fabric
- Interfacing
- Zipper
- Sewing machine
- Thread
- Needle
- Scissors
- Pins
Step 1: Cutting the fabric
First, trace the rabbit shape onto your fabric using a rabbit-shaped stencil or template. You can either use an online template or draw one yourself. Once you've drawn the shape, cut 2 rabbit shapes from your main fabric, lining fabric, and interfacing.
Step 2: Attaching the interfacing
Attach interfacing to one of the main fabric rabbit shapes by ironing it onto the wrong side of the fabric. This will make your handbag sturdier.
Step 3: Sewing the lining and top zipper
Place the lining fabric and zipper right sides together, and sew with a zipper foot. Repeat on the other side to make sure the zipper is sewn on correctly.
Step 4: Adding the main fabric
Stack the main fabric rabbit shapes right sides together on top of the lining and zipper. Make sure to align the edges of the fabric and zipper. Pin and sew around all the edges, leaving a small gap at the bottom for turning. Turn the bag right side out through the gap.
Step 5: Sewing the bottom and handles
Sew the gap at the bottom closed, and attach the handles by sewing them onto the sides of the handbag. You can choose to use ready-made handles or make your own by sewing a long strip of fabric and folding it over to create a double-sided handle.
Step 6: Finishing touches
Finally, add any desired finishing touches such as a cute bow or pompom tail. You can also add pockets or embellishments to the inside of the handbag.
